Trade Counter Sales Assistant/Branch Administrator

Skyline Roofing Centres is a leading supplier of roofing and building materials with branches within and around the M25. Our sales indicate that we are the leading privately owned supplier of roofing materials and we have been operating for over 45 years.

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Trade Counter Sales Assistant/Branch Administrator to join our small, friendly Kings Langley branch. This is a full-time, permanent role that offers a competitive salary, 28 days holiday, life assurance & EAP, discretionary bonus, Cyclescheme, and Long Service Awards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to existing and new customers.
  • Develop our existing customer base and target potential new customers through face-to-face meetings and proactive telephone work.
  • Help drive sales to meet sales targets.
Branch Administrator Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor procedures and administrative systems.
  • Answer telephone calls and manage the switchboard.
  • Typing various documents, including letters and presentations.
  • Arrange meetings and appointments.
  • Manage, organize, and update relevant database applications, including quotations.
  • Liaise with staff, including other branches and departments, customers, and suppliers.
  • Prepare letters and presentations.
  • Arrange appointments and manage the diary.
  • Deal with invoice, supplier, and customer queries.
  • Order and maintain relevant office supplies.
  • Manage stock, including counts, adjustments, and reporting.
  • Dispatch goods, IDTs, and book goods in.
  • Process supplier returns.
  • Create and manage Trade Cash Card customer accounts.
  • Set customer discounts.
  • Cash up and reconcile the till.
  • File data and perform other administrative tasks as assigned and for other departments when required.
  • Work within Company Policy and Procedures, including Health & Safety Guidelines.
