The ideal candidate will engage in physical work, adapting to and managing some anti-social behavior, while providing support to society's most vulnerable children. A practical trial day will take place in the school to ensure the role is suitable for you.

As a successful candidate, you can expect a salary of approximately £25,000 per annum, plus extensive SEN and safeguarding training, including MAPA Training. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to explore and refine their areas of genuine interest and skills over the course of 10 years of qualification.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with students with EHCPs, including those with Autism, OCD, and varying levels of social anxiety.
  • Engage in physical work, adapting to and managing some anti-social behavior.
  • Implement various therapies and holistic processes, celebrating small successes as milestones.
  • Address specific needs such as Pathological Demand Avoidance and Pervasive Developmental Disorder.
  • Focus on the diverse cognitive abilities of each student, promoting positive engagement and acceptance.
