About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Mechanical Engineer to join our Building Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting our work-winning activities, developing technical strategies, and demonstrating market-leading expertise in the field.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Mentor and develop a team of Building Services Engineers
  • Protect and develop the quality of our designs, providing technical and pastoral mentoring to the mechanical team
  • Drive and deliver quality projects profitably and to the satisfaction of our clients
  • Complete business development in the local market
  • Liaise and interact with other UK Building Services teams to optimize technical direction and use of standard procedures and digital tools
  • Manage technical risks, negotiate scope of services, and prepare fee proposals

About You

We are looking for a Chartered Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. You should have previous experience leading and coordinating all aspects of project delivery, with a strong focus on mechanical bias. You should also be forward-thinking and enthusiastic about digital design innovation and 'smart design' in the increasingly digitalized construction arena.
