About the Role

We are currently working closely with a lovely SEN school in Dunstable to recruit a number of SEN Teaching Support Specialists to support children across their school.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 TA qualification or a Degree in a related field, with experience working with children with SEN being preferable but not essential.

As a Dedicated Learning Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering effective support to the class teacher, developing strong bonds with students with a range of different SEN needs, and tracking and monitoring student progress.

Salary: £85-95 per week, depending on experience

The school caters for children with a range of different additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, Mild Learning Difficulties, Global delay, and SEMH.

They follow the national curriculum, but have adapted their lessons to make them accessible and fun for their students.

  1. Deliver effective support to the class teacher.
  2. Develop a strong bond with students with a range of different SEN needs.
  3. Track and monitor student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet their needs.
