As a Scrum Master at emagine Consulting, you will play a key role in facilitating the success of our Agile practice. Your primary responsibility will be to operate at the Team level as a change agent, working closely with the Product Owner and Scrum Team to ensure the Scrum framework values and Agile practices are followed.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within the financial services industry, preferably in a regulatory domain. You will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and motivating the Scrum Team to create new and/or improve processes, make decisions, and remove impediments quickly.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, implementing, and managing projects to optimize customer journey design, customer experience, business structures, and processes to support the operation of the Bank.
  • Working with the Product Owners to define customer journey vision and design, handle product backlogs, and new requests, ensuring effective prioritization.
  • Managing and coordinating project deliveries, project resources, removing blockers, and coaching the Scrum Team on Agile practices.
  • Working supportively and collaboratively with a complex stakeholder network, including business owners, multiple Tribes, and Squads to ensure alignment and prioritization where applicable.
  • Coordinating Release Management & Deployment ensuring changes are communicated to users.
  • Managing the QA process to ensure all changes are delivered to a high standard of quality.
  • Delivering robust governance and risk management in line with bank policies, and maintained through the governance frameworks including 3rd party procurement.
  • Monitoring performance in terms of volumes and quality against plan and providing advice, guidance, and recommending corrective action where necessary, to enhance performance and ensure consistency of approach.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of working within financial services institutions (ideally regulatory domain).
  • Experience working in a Scrum team and successfully delivering business projects in accordance with objectives.
  • Understanding and application of project delivery including planning and tracking, risk and issue management, stakeholder management, and organizational implementation in an Agile environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Scrum framework including tools and techniques.
  • Effectiveness in leading, coaching, and sharing best practice with colleagues.
  • Ability to manage and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Certified Scrum Master or working towards qualifying.
  • Experience utilizing project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro.
  • Strong knowledge of the financial services technology landscape.
  • Ability to collect and analyze information to solve complex problems rationally and make decisions on time for enhanced productivity.
