About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Water Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. As part of our Caledonia Water Alliance joint venture with AECOM, you will play a crucial role in delivering Scotland's SR21 Water and Wastewater Infrastructure programme.

This £500 million investment over the next four years presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to vital infrastructure projects that enhance communities and support sustainable development.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of design engineers, ensuring efficient project delivery within budget and schedule constraints.
  • Develop innovative and cost-effective water and wastewater engineering solutions, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and reports, demonstrating technical expertise and attention to detail.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in water engineering.
Your Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Lead Water Design Engineer with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
  • In-depth knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, hydraulic design principles, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software and tools.
