About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled SHEQ Advisor to join our team at Equal Resourcing Limited. As a SHEQ Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our clients and their employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct inspections to ensure SHEQ compliance on construction and civil engineering projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver high standards of health and safety on all projects.
- Manage contractors and ensure safe maintenance and risk management of plant and materials.
- Develop and deliver bespoke training programs and educational materials to promote health and safety awareness.
- Conduct equipment inspections and lead incident investigations.
- Assist with shift work as required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
- CSCS Card.
- Knowledge and experience of groundwork and reinforced concrete frameworks.
- Previous experience working in a similar HP environment.
- Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis skills.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- IEMA Certification (advantageous).
- Temporary Works Coordinator (advantageous).
- Experience in lifting equipment (advantageous).
Benefits
- Basic salary £50,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience).
- 31 days annual leave (including bank holidays).
- Death in Service (4X salary).
- 5% Company Pension / 4% Employee.
