About the Role:

LDNY People Ltd is currently working in partnership with a leading Engineering and Construction business to recruit an Assistant EHS Advisor for their Hinkley Point C project.

The successful candidate will work closely with the SHEQ Advisor to implement company best practice and champion Health and Safety systems, activities, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the SHEQ Advisor to implement company best practice and champion Health and Safety systems, activities, and procedures.
  • Assist in the communication of standards and procedures to site-based personnel.
  • Attend EHS committee meetings.
  • Standardise EHS systems, practices, and procedures.
  • Ensure the continuous improvement of health and safety across the site/business.
  • Assist in investigations into quality, health, or safety incidents.
  • Maintain and safeguard all required statutory records and reports.
  • Respond to queries within the team.

Requirements:

  • A NEBOSH General/Construction Occupational H&S Certificate.
  • Skills Certification Scheme Card Holder (CSCS) or willing to obtain.
  • Knowledge of UK Health, Safety, and environmental legislation.
  • Computer literate, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Currently located in the South West of England or willing to relocate.
