Assistant EHS Advisor Opportunity

LDNY People is working in partnership with a leading Engineering and Construction business to deliver a major project at Hinkley Point C. We are seeking an experienced Assistant EHS Advisor to join their site-based project team.

The successful candidate will work closely with the SHEQ Advisor to implement company best practice and champion health and safety systems, activities, and procedures. They will also assist in investigations into quality, health, or safety incidents and ensure the continuous improvement of health and safety across the site/business.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Implement company best practice and knowledge in relation to site-based safety.
  2. Champion health and safety systems, activities, and procedures.
  3. Assist in investigations into quality, health, or safety incidents.
  4. Ensure the continuous improvement of health and safety across the site/business.
Requirements:
  1. A NEBOSH General/Construction Occupational H&S Certificate.
  2. Skills Certification Scheme Card Holder (CSCS) or willing to obtain.
  3. Knowledge of UK Health, Safety, and environmental legislation.
  4. Computer literate, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  5. Currently located in the South West of England or willing to relocate here.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant EHS Advisor to work on a major project and contribute to the company's commitment to wellbeing and health and safety.
