Teaching Assistant Position

Job Role
- Support children with limited or no verbal communication
- Work with children with high levels of Special Educational Needs
- Assist with daily activities and provide individualized support

Working Pattern
Part-time (Can be done as a job share): 1:1 Teaching Assistant (Named child contract)
Full-time 8.40-3.35pm. 32 hours per week. (30mins unpaid lunch) 29.5 hours Pay scale level 2 (point 5) £12.73per hour. Contract includes 30-minutes per day midday supervisor contract (2.5 hours pay scale level 1C (Point2) £11.59 per hour). Monday to Friday (Term time only, 38 weeks)

TA £12.73per hour and MDS £11.59 per hour

Melbourn Primary School is a warm and welcoming school on the Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire border. We are located in the beautiful village of Melbourn, just a short car journey or only a 15-minute train ride from Cambridge city centre and with good transport links in to London.
