Hours: 8:30am - 16:30pm

Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to deliver high-quality educational experiences
  • Provide individualized support to students, focusing on reinforcing learning concepts and promoting academic growth
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs
  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters social and emotional development
  • Support students with emotional or behavioural difficulties, promoting their well-being and academic success
Required Qualifications:
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Strong understanding of the UK education system and its requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other staff members
Education:
  • GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent qualifications, demonstrating a solid foundation in core subjects
Experience:
  • Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role, with a proven track record of supporting students and contributing to educational settings
  • Experience supporting students with special educational needs, with a focus on promoting their academic and personal growth
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Knowledge of various teaching strategies and learning styles, with the ability to adapt to different educational contexts
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with teachers and other staff members to achieve educational goals
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced educational environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • First Aid certification, demonstrating a commitment to student safety and well-being
  • Training in safeguarding and child protection, with a focus on promoting a safe and supportive learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
