Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Team Administrator to join our team at Dorset HealthCare. As a key member of our primary care team, you will provide administrative support to our healthcare professionals and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities

As a Team Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing administrative support to healthcare professionals, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and preparing correspondence.
  • Assisting with the coordination of patient care, including arranging transportation and communicating with patients and families.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, including patient information, medical histories, and treatment plans.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of administrative processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Working towards NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
  • Clerical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Demonstrable experience of using word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software to a high standard.
  • A desire to work in the primary care setting and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

  • Community or acute experience, with a strong understanding of the healthcare sector.
