Job Title: Senior Credit Risk Analyst

Join OVO Energy, a leading utilities business, in a challenging and rewarding role as a Senior Credit Risk Analyst. As a key member of our Customer Balances team, you will be responsible for the effective management of key debt prevention strategies, processes, analytics, and MI which underpin the Collections operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data-driven insights to inform credit risk and collections strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data and analytics to support decision-making
  • Design and build data pipelines for data integration and visualization
  • Lead initiatives to advance department strategy and reduce portfolio risk
  • Assess trends and performance against targets and key performance indicators
Requirements:
  • Strong proven experience in a similar data or analytical role
  • Strong SQL skills and confident in working with a range of datasets
  • Ability to build and present meaningful data visualizations
  • Experience in cloud data services such as Google Cloud Platform
  • Statistical knowledge including sampling, significance, hypothesis testing, and basic probability theory
