About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive assessment, advice, treatment, and discharge planning for our Home First caseload.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy assessments and deliver person-centered rehabilitation and individualized goals.
  • Undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team and other services within Home First, as well as outside agencies.
  • Manage clinical risk within the Home First therapy caseload.
  • Be responsible for the safe and competent use of all appropriate equipment.

Person Specification
  • Ability to drive and have access to a car for use at work.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Degree-level qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Experience post-registration in community/acute/stroke/rehabilitation settings.
  • Previous clinical experience of working in an NHS setting.
  • Evidence of recent continuing professional development.
