This Apprenticeship position at Riverside Training is ideal for individuals who are eager to develop their skills and knowledge in physical activity training. As a Physical Activity Training Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of sports programs and developing your coaching skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting experienced coaches in planning and delivering coaching sessions.
  • Assisting in the organization of training equipment and match day logistics.
  • Providing basic feedback to players under the guidance of senior coaches.
Qualifications & Experience
  • A minimum of 2 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).
  • Some experience playing or volunteering in sports.
Additional Requirements
  • A DBS check is required for this role.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends, as coaching sessions and games may occur outside normal working hours.
Salary & Benefits

£6.40 per hour (National Minimum Apprentice Wage) for up to 30 hours per week, including 6 hours per week attending sessions for the apprenticeship.
