Electrical Shift Manager

As a key member of the Butlin's team, you will be responsible for leading the Electrical Function within our Skegness resort. Your primary objective will be to ensure the efficient running of the electrical team, guaranteeing the highest standard of service is consistently met.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team to deliver exceptional service to our guests and ensure they receive positive feedback.
  • Supporting day-to-day activities of the electrical team, including routine maintenance, servicing, and repairing of domestic, commercial, and electrical equipment.
  • Managing project works with both team and subcontractors.
  • Planning and operating the rota system, including on-call systems, and being available for call-outs if required.
  • Ensuring a good knowledge of all aspects of fault finding and installation works.

This role requires flexibility, with a 5-day working week over 7 days, and occasional late work may be required. You will also be responsible for managing both internal and external service providers to ensure full compliance with all H&S policies.

As part of the Resorts Management team, you will oversee all team activities within the department, including recruitment, performance, and team development. You should be a real advocate for your team's fulfillment at work, ensuring regular 121's and PDP discussions to support their development and career with Butlin's.

We are looking for an experienced electrical leader who can support the team to deliver fantastic service, putting the guests first in everything you do. You will have experience in training and coaching the team in a fun-filled environment to deliver an excellent experience.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • 18th Edition electrical qualification.
  • HVK license.
  • Ability to prioritize a demanding workload, work on your own initiative, and operate a PC/Microsoft suite.
  • Confidence to direct and respond in any situation while delivering consistent brand standards.
