About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Shift Manager to lead our Electrical Function within our Skegness resort. As a key member of our Resorts Management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of our Electrical Function, delivering exceptional service to our guests, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of electrical professionals to deliver high-quality service and maintain the highest standards of electrical safety and compliance.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance and repair strategies to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage project works, including routine maintenance, servicing, and repairing of domestic, commercial, and electrical equipment.
  • Plan and operate the rota system, including on-call systems, and be available for call-outs as required.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of electrical equipment, including maintenance schedules and repair history.
  • Collaborate with external service providers to ensure full compliance with all H&S policies and procedures.
  • Oversee all team activities within the department, including recruitment, performance management, and team development.
  • Coach and develop team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional service.
  • Drive add-on sales and promotions, and support the team to do the same.
  • Ensure all stock and proposition is available for guests, and monitor consistent delivery of a quality guest experience.
About You

We are looking for an experienced electrical leader who can support the team to deliver fantastic service, putting the guests first in everything they do. You will have experience in training and coaching the team in a fun-filled environment to deliver an excellent experience.

You should have previous experience in leading teams, with an ability to prioritize a demanding workload, work on your own initiative, and a sound understanding of how to operate a PC/Microsoft suite.

You should be confident to direct and respond in any situation while delivering consistent brand standards.

The ability to lead, motivate, and engage your team, even at periods of high demand, is important, as well as being able to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements.

You'll need to have an 18th Edition electrical qualification, as well as a HVK license.
