Sales Director

Our esteemed client, a renowned home textiles business, is seeking a seasoned Sales Director to spearhead a small team and drive sales of their luxury products to national and independent retailers. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in premium textile sales and thrive in a dynamic start-up or scale-up environment, backed by a well-established and well-backed company.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve significant revenue growth, aiming to double revenue in national, independent, and retail stores. Own the P&L responsibility for the sales division, ensuring financial targets are met and profitability is optimized.
- Ownership of Sales Budget & Growth: Increase the number of doors and shelf space, closely monitoring performance metrics. Negotiate contracts with both large and small customers, ensuring business objectives are met.
- Market Analysis and Strategy: Conduct white space analysis of existing retailers to increase shelf space.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the B2B2C and D2C offline spaces, focusing on acquiring and retaining key customers. Explore new ways to grow the independent business.
- Project Management and Reporting: Oversee various projects within the sales division, ensuring timely delivery and effective implementation. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management and the board of directors, making commercial recommendations based on market analysis and performance metrics.
