About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Amwell Group Practice. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing and clinical staff.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the nursing and clinical team in the delivery of nursing services, working as part of the practice multidisciplinary team to deliver care within your scope of practice to the patient population.
  • Assist with the provision of treatment, preventative care, health promotion, and patient education, including NHS Health Checks, Long Term Conditions, and Local Commissioned Services.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and excellent patient outcomes.

Person Specification

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred).
  • Healthcare Assistant or Nursing Associate qualification.
  • Desirable qualifications include Phlebotomy, immunisation administration, and experience working in a Primary Care Setting.
  • Proficiency in EMIS Web is also desirable.
