We are seeking a highly skilled Teaching Assistant Lead to join our team at Long Term Futures Ltd. As a Higher Level Education Assistant, you will be responsible for providing vital support to class teachers in a secondary school setting.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in education, with relevant qualifications and experience working with small groups and 1:1 interventions. You will be responsible for covering classes in the absence of the class teacher and planning and running interventions for specific groups of children.

We offer a competitive salary of £32,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including 24/7 support from consultants, easy-to-use timesheet portals, and various CPD opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support class teacher in secondary school
  • Ensure accurate records of student progress and behaviour
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to deliver effective learning experiences
  • Assist with planning and delivering interventions for students with additional needs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with parents and carers

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree or HLTA qualification
  • 3 years' experience in education setting
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
