About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW). As a Consultant in Paediatric Orthopaedics, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children with orthopaedic conditions, including trauma and elective surgery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality care to children with orthopaedic conditions, including trauma and elective surgery
  • Participate in on-call rota for trauma and orthopaedic emergencies
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Participate in teaching and training of junior doctors and other healthcare professionals

Requirements

  • Full and specialist registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Eligibility for specialist registration within six months of interview
  • Experience in paediatric trauma and orthopaedics
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
