Engineering Contracts Specialist

We are seeking a Senior Contracts Coordinator to join our team at Arriva TrainCare. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational delivery of contractual obligations for the servicing of passenger rolling stock, locomotives, freight wagons, and track plant.
The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and excellent knowledge of the rail industry. They should also have previous experience in a contract/commercial management role, preferably managing engineering contracts.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational delivery of contractual obligations for the servicing of passenger rolling stock, locomotives, freight wagons, and track plant.
- Primary point of contact for CrossCountry Fleet Management lead, CrossCountry and Alstom maintenance planning and control teams.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a contract/commercial management role, preferably managing engineering contracts.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and excellent knowledge of the rail industry.
- Excellent computer proficiency in MS Office 365, including Teams, Share Point, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Forms, SAP Power BI, and Outlook.
- Valid driving licence.
