Interim Manufacturing Operations Manager Opportunity

Anderson Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Interim Manufacturing Operations Manager to join a well-established manufacturing client based in Lydney. The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Director and be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations on site and leading the manufacturing team in achieving KPIs while maintaining continuous improvement by driving change and developing coordination between departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Production team to ensure products are manufactured within the required timeframes and correct quality
  • Manage the capacity of the factory, maximising yield and productivity
  • Provide direction, motivation, and support through effective management of direct reports
  • Communicate expectations to your production team and appraisal of their performance
  • Continually look to reduce waste and reduce costs to the business
  • Responsible for site Health and Safety

Candidate Attributes:

  • Experience of managing a manufacturing operation
  • Experience in managing and driving continuous improvements
  • Strong experience in using ERP and other business standard software (MS Office)

Working Hours and Benefits:

Monday to Thursday 7:00am - 5pm. Salary £40 to 50k pro rata depending on experience + 24 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays) + Pension Scheme + Free access to Wellbeing clinics.
