Interim Manufacturing Operations Manager

Anderson Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Interim Manufacturing Operations Manager to join their client's evolving business in Lydney.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Director and be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations on site, leading the manufacturing team in achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and driving continuous improvement by developing coordination between departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the production team to ensure products are manufactured within the required timeframes and meet quality standards.
  • Maximise factory capacity, yield, and productivity.
  • Provide direction, motivation, and support to direct reports through effective management.
  • Communicate expectations and appraise the performance of production team members.
  • Continuously look to reduce waste and costs to the business.
  • Ensure site Health and Safety.
Candidate Attributes:
  • Experience in managing a manufacturing operation.
  • Experience in driving continuous improvements.
  • Strong experience in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and other business-standard software (MS Office).
