The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Junior Sister/Charge Nurse in our Medical Admissions Unit (MAU). This exciting opportunity provides a chance to develop leadership skills and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

The MAU is a 32-bedded unit that enables rapid assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute medical conditions. As a Junior Sister/Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for managing a team of nurses and contributing to the development of clinical skills. You will also have the opportunity to participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the trust's leadership development programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of nurses in the MAU
  • Develop and implement clinical skills training
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
  • Participate in the trust's leadership development programme

Requirements:

  • At least 18 months experience as a Band 5 nurse
  • Post-registration qualification in an acute specialty
  • ILS/ALS course completion
