About the Role

The Site Manager will be responsible for the successful execution of all activities on the assigned construction site, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and meeting contractual requirements. This role requires a high level of quality, safety, and environmental awareness, with a focus on maintaining a safe and incident-free construction site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage site activities to achieve contractual targets, ensuring all personnel are well-informed about the Scope of Work (SoW) and Division of Work (DoW).
  • Oversee Change Management on site, including variation orders to subcontractors.
  • Ensure all tests are performed and accepted by the customer according to contractual conditions.
  • Foster a culture of proper understanding and adherence to Health, Environment, and Safety requirements.
  • Maintain a good relationship with local authorities and organizations, ensuring all permits, licenses, and requirements are in place.
  • Guarantee that all activities are performed within defined contractual schedules and milestones.
  • Ensure contractual obligations are met and to the satisfaction of our customers.

Requirements

  • Experience as Site Manager on industrial construction projects with significant complexity and responsibility.
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience with HVDC Converter Stations is a plus.
  • Understanding of Terms and Conditions typical used on Construction type Contracts.
  • Willingness to relocate for the duration of the project.
  • Experience in Civil Works, Installation, and/or Commissioning activities.
  • Recognized Health, Environment, and Safety certifications and training.
  • Driven, structured, able to work and lead teams, goal-oriented, eager to learn from experiences and adapt as may be required.
