Pastoral Administrative Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Pastoral Administrative Assistant to join our team at PolyMAT.



About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to support the Deputy Head Teacher in charge of pastoral care. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of building positive working relationships with young people, communicating effectively with teachers, parents, and external agencies, and achieving positive outcomes for students.



Key Responsibilities


  • Provide administrative support to the Deputy Head Teacher in charge of pastoral care
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and external agencies
  • Assist with the coordination of pastoral events and activities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of pastoral policies and procedures
  • Provide administrative support for student welfare and well-being initiatives


Requirements

We are looking for an individual who is highly organised, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have a good standard of literacy and numeracy and be able to demonstrate experience of working in a similar role.
