About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team at Akari Care. As a Food Service Professional, you will be responsible for preparing healthy, appealing meals for our residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met and exceeding their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals for residents according to established recipes and menu plans
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless food service operations
  • Contribute to a positive, respectful work culture that prioritizes resident satisfaction and well-being

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience as a Cook or equivalent role in a healthcare setting
  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary arts degree preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
