Print Finishing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Print Finishing Specialist to join our client's team at Workshop Recruitment.
Key Responsibilities:- Graphic Preparation: Prepare, mount, and laminate large format graphics, including rigid boards, vinyls, papers, laminates, banners, etc.
- Material Finishing: Finish various materials to meet project specifications.
- Machining Equipment Operation: Operate printers, laminators, vinyl plotters/kiss cutters, and CNC machines.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Work in accordance with client and site health and safety procedures.
- UV Printing Setup: Set up and operate UV printing equipment to produce high-quality graphics according to project specifications.
- Material Preparation: Prepare materials for printing, including loading and aligning substrates and ensuring they are suitable for UV printing.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality checks throughout the printing process, inspecting for defects and inconsistencies before and after production.
- Process Execution: Follow the process at all parts of the print and production process.
- Material Finishing: Finish printed materials, including cutting, trimming, and applying laminates or coatings to enhance durability and visual appeal as per job tickets.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain equipment in optimal working condition, performing regular maintenance and troubleshooting as required.
- Collaboration with Teams: Collaborate with the sales, estimating, and design teams to ensure that designs are accurately represented in the final product.
- Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of materials used and tasks completed, promptly reporting any issues or delays to the production team.
