Company Overview
Syntech Recruitment Ltd is a globally recognised Manufacturing business based in the UK, seeking a Production Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a manufacturing/engineering business and be able to manage all aspects of planning tools to facilitate maintaining an average production plan.

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Production Planner to work closely with colleagues implementing best practice 'LEAN' techniques. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of new enquiry costs through the NPI system, providing formal estimates against each new enquiry quoted by the business. Additionally, they will ensure participation on margin improvement initiatives working closely with colleagues to implement best practice techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all released jobs, providing precise instructions relating to job order requirements, including special procedures and BOM updates.
  • Ensure Direct Labour and where appropriate In-Direct Labour are assigned and perform jobs that are always necessary in line with the production plan.
  • Control all aspects of production transactions, fulfilling shipping duties for all product leaving the facility.
  • Assist stock control objectives of the business for raw materials and finished goods.

Benefits
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £27,000-£31,000 per annum, Monday to Thursday 08:15 to 17:00 & Friday 08:15 am – 12:45 pm. Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must have previous experience from within a manufacturing/engineering business. They should possess excellent communication skills, be highly organised, and have the ability to work effectively under pressure.
