We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician - Wet Trades to join our team at Havebury Housing Partnership. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for undertaking bricklaying, roofing, groundworks, and plastering works on domestic properties throughout East Anglia.

You will also be responsible for conducting mould wash and diagnosing the reason for the mould before carrying out remedial works. In addition, you will be required to provide clear information on additional works, duration, and materials required.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in wet trades, excellent customer care skills, and the ability to work on their own initiative. If you have a Full Driving Licence, NVQ Level 3 qualification in a relevant trade, and social housing experience, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake bricklaying, roofing, groundworks, and plastering works to a high standard, in line with relevant C&G qualifications, British Standards, and industry best practices.
  • Diagnose faults and rectify effectively, with a focus on first-visit repairs.
  • Conduct mould wash and diagnose the reason for the mould before carrying out remedial works.
  • Provide clear information on additional works, duration, and materials required.
  • Undertake basic works of other trades relative to work undertaken or as directed by line manager.
Requirements
  • Full Driving Licence
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Good customer care skills
  • Competent user of I.T.
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in a relevant trade
