Maintenance Technician Electrician

Key Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Your duties will include:

  • Performing corrective and preventive electrical maintenance
  • Repairing production and processing equipment, as well as utility-related equipment
  • Supporting the installation of new equipment
  • Ensuring all repairs are properly documented
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Completing all paperwork accurately and efficiently
  • Participating in the BOPEX (continuous improvement) program
  • Complying with all applicable procedures, regulations, and policies
  • Reporting and stopping unsafe operations, and using required PPE
  • Offering flexibility in working hours, subject to business needs
  • Working on call, outside regular hours

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with technical qualifications or experience
  • Electrical knowledge and awareness of HACCP, food hygiene, and safety requirements
  • Fluency in English
  • Computer skills and experience working in repair and maintenance of machinery in a food or drink manufacturing environment
  • Excellent trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in a team
