Job Summary
This role offers an exciting opportunity for Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Paramedics to join our team as a Functional Specialist. You will work on a hybrid schedule, managing caseloads from start to finish, conducting face-to-face and virtual assessments, and providing a high level of customer service to claimants. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality services, ensuring a seamless and efficient process for all stakeholders.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Managing caseloads from end to end, including delivering face-to-face and virtual assessments
- Conducting thorough and unbiased assessments for the Government's disability allowance (PIP)
- Providing a high level of customer service to claimants, ensuring a safe, empathetic, and inclusive experience
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient process
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of our services and processes
What You'll Need
To succeed in this role, you will need strong clinical assessment skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work autonomously as part of a team. As a healthcare professional, you will bring valuable experience and skills to this position, which will be utilised to deliver high-quality assessments and services.
