About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Room Leader to join our team at Bright Horizons Broadgate Day Nursery and Preschool. As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team to deliver exceptional care and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Early Years professionals to deliver high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.
  • Develop and implement engaging and stimulating learning environments that promote children's cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to ensure the individual needs of each child are met.
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health, and safety, and safeguarding.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that support the delivery of high-quality care and education.
Requirements
  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working within an Early Years setting, ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, or Early Years Educator.
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and Safeguarding, Child Protection, and wider legislative requirements for working with children.
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with children and adults.
