**The Role**
At Soho House the Membership Events & Content Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Membership Events Programming Manager with the administrative duties that support the execution of cultural and community driven membership events, and capturing content at events. As the Member Events Coordinator you will support the team by ensuring proper preparation is handled and coordinated leading up to an event through its completion. Such tasks include venue diary management, gathering promotional materials, booking tech support and other freelancers, reviewing menus, managing invoices as well as vendor communication and evaluating member feedback to support future events. You will also capture content of events in order to be shared via the companies various content platforms.
A successful Membership Events Coordinator is well-organized, detail-oriented, passionate about events and creating community through shared experiences. You will also be a strong communicator, in-the-know of leading trends/music/talent and possess a sound knowledge of vendor management. You will have a flair for digital content capture and be able to capture and edit content with a fast turnaround.
**Main Duties**
- Support the coordination for all event communication (internal/external) and event materials; including diary management, run of shows and event promotion.
- Capture content such as short videos and photographs at events.
- Administrative duties, including but not limited to internal meeting management, free-lance staffing, managing invoices and tracking budgets.
- Responsible for uploading all member events to digital platforms for exposure and managing any incoming inquiries and attendee confirmation
- Support membership and events team by collecting information from partners (photos, event information, bios and so on)
- Assist the membership team by working 'on the floor' and gathering member feedback
- Organize, store and update event contracts, receipts and partner contact information
- Attend and oversee the execution of events as needed and acquire member feedback following events
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager
- Tracking invoices, receipts and working closely with managers and finance team to track the costs of events
**Required Skills/Qualifications**
- At least 1 + years of professional experience in a similar capacity
- Experienced with Outlook & Excel
- A good knowledge of content capture equipment and editing software.
- Creatively driven and culturally in-tune to develop / foster a network and knowledge to execute large scale events
- Collaborative and communicates well to provide direction / delegation to efficiently accomplish task(s) at hand
- Research skills as well as exceptional organizational abilities and extraordinary relationship building skills
- Ability to multitask and execute under pressure and in demanding fast-paced environments
- A good understanding and keen interest in digital content trends
- Energetic, flexible, collaborative, a proactive; a team leader who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical finance, and administrative initiatives
- Critical thinker and the ability to exercise good judgment and solve problems quickly and effectivelyAn essential part of the job is being available on a flexible schedule and being willing to work outside "office hours". For example, nights, weekends and holidays (as needed and when applicable). This may or may not be required on a regular basis but is mandatory when needed.
- Hospitality or live events experience a plus not a must
- Expected to work weekends and nights per the House needs; may be commonly asked
