Key Responsibilities- Raise purchase orders, maintain and update product information, and ensure accuracy on our systems.
- Set up and update product lists, manage critical deadlines, and work with buyers to ensure timely delivery.
- Manage the department's critical path, collaborate with buyers to meet delivery dates, and maintain accurate records.
- Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, invoicing, and managing post and parcels.
- Oversee department samples, including sample storage, requests, and feedback to suppliers.
- Support the team in preparing for range meetings, including sample pulling and organizing sign-off documents.
- Assist junior buyers with approvals, product storage, lab dips, yarn dips, and bulk submissions.
- Conduct market research, gather feedback, and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Participate in in-store visits, provide detailed feedback, and support the buyers and merchandising team.
- Previous experience in a buying administration role (placement year or internship experience considered).
- Passion for gaining experience and developing a career in buying.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Proactive, hard-working, and excellent relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated and highly organized.
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively.
