About the Role:

The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join one of our clients based in Chesterfield.

This is a standalone position, which will require the successful candidate to manage and develop new electronic product designs from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop new electronic products, including circuit boards, microcontrollers, and other electronic components.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure design meets customer requirements and industry standards.
  3. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
  4. Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to ensure design meets customer requirements and industry standards.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure designs are innovative and competitive.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electronics design engineering, with a strong background in circuit board design and microcontroller programming.
  • Strong understanding of electronic design automation tools, including CAD software and simulation tools.
