Help Desk Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Desk Manager to join our team at ExamWorks UK. As a Service Desk Manager, you will be responsible for leading our 1st line IT Service Desk team, supporting over 850 users, end-user devices, and IT applications across the business.
You will report to the Head of IT Service Delivery and work closely with the Business Support Manager to ensure that service levels and customer expectations are met or exceeded. Your primary goal will be to drive the output and performance of the team, ensuring that standards and processes are followed to meet defined benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and lead a team of IT Service Desk professionals, providing guidance and coaching to ensure excellent customer service and technical support.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve service delivery, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the IT team to resolve complex technical issues and implement new technologies.
- Work closely with the Business Support Manager to ensure alignment with business objectives and goals.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Proven experience in managing a 1st line IT Service Desk team, with a strong background in customer service and technical support.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Strong technical knowledge of Azure, VDI, Horizon Service Now, VM Ware, and Microsoft stack.
- Experience with ITIL practices (ITIL v3 or v4 Service Management) and asset & configuration management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
