About the Role

GSL Education is seeking a qualified Primary Teacher KS2 to join a specialized residential provider offering education and therapeutic care to vulnerable students.

The ideal candidate will be committed to cultivating a vibrant and inclusive learning environment, delivering high-quality education, and fostering holistic development for students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate excellence in classroom teaching with the ability to achieve high standards of learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to create and implement individualized learning plans for students with specific needs.
  • Set high expectations for all students, inspiring and motivating learners to reach their potential.
  • Show initiative and dedication to ongoing professional development.
  • Possess strong professional knowledge and understanding of the primary curriculum.
  • Build trust and confidence among pupils and colleagues.
  • Cultivate a sense of team commitment within the classroom and motivate pupils through engaging teaching practices.
  • Engage students with dynamic and tailored lessons that address their diverse learning needs.
Requirements
  • Must be based in the UK and not require sponsorship.
  • Holds QTS or equivalent is essential.
  • Exhibits proactive, energetic, compassionate, flexible, and adaptable qualities.
  • Provides a verifiable work history.
  • Demonstrated teaching experience.
  • Strong desire to work in a SEN setting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and establish strong relationships.
  • Possession of a full UK driving license is desirable.
