**Job Description:** Pod Lead Social Worker
**Location:** Remote or On-Site
**Salary:** £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
We are looking for a skilled Pod Lead Social Worker to join our team at Semester.co.uk. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading the work of the pod and ensuring the best possible positive outcomes for children and young people across the service.
The ideal candidate will have a professional qualification in social work, be registered with Social Work England, and have an enhanced DBS/Update service. You must also have excellent leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the work of the pod and ensure the best possible positive outcomes for children and young people across the service
- Develop and implement strategies to improve outcomes and achieve service goals
- Work closely with the Looked After Children's Team manager to ensure effective delivery of services
- Collaborate with other professionals to develop and maintain effective working relationships
