Regional Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Surveyor to join our team at Shepherd Neame, Britain's oldest brewer. As a Regional Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and developing our regional portfolio of pubs across Kent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure our properties are compliant, well-maintained, and fit for purpose by having a detailed understanding of the buildings and assets across your regional estate.
  • Provide specialist advice and effective resolution management in relation to a wide range of property repairs, maintenance, sustainability, and efficiency.
  • Prepare scheme designs and detailed schedules for the delivery of planned refurbishment and capital projects.
  • Manage monthly repair and maintenance budgets and develop our wider planned works programme.
  • Monitor and manage contractor Service level agreements and proactively support the team in ensuring our supply chain provides the best service to our pubs and hotels.
Requirements:
  • Property-based degree qualification or equivalent with demonstrable experience in a similar role.
  • RICS/CIOB qualified or similar, working towards or with aspiration to become qualified.
  • Observant and proficient in identifying, rectifying, and escalating hazards promptly.
  • Passion for promoting and supporting a best-practice culture with the confidence to take ownership of key initiatives.
  • Conscientious professional with a strong commitment to quality.
  • Friendly and approachable with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, contractors, and consultants, both written and verbal.
