Job Title: Building Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Surveyor to join our team at Shepherd Neame. As a Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and continued enhancement of our regional portfolio of properties across the South East.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular site visits to inspect properties and identify any maintenance or repair issues.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure properties are well-maintained and compliant with relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with our operations team to ensure that all maintenance and repair work is carried out efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to our maintenance team on best practices and industry standards.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work carried out on our properties.
Requirements:
  • RICS or CIOB qualified or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality or leisure industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
