Assistant Conference and Events Manager Role Overview
The Events team at Center Parcs is dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences through service and value for money. As an Assistant Conference and Events Manager, you will play a key role in helping us achieve this goal.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the management team in delivering excellent service for conference and events guests
- Assist with the day-to-day running of events, including set up, de-rig, and close down
- Work closely with Venue Management and event organizers to ensure client needs are met
- Compile and maintain event files, ensuring all necessary information is available
- Manage and plan rotas, and understand order requirements
About You
We're looking for someone with a passion for Bar Service and/or Conferences and Events, who is highly motivated and committed. Ideally, you will have experience as an Assistant Manager or Supervisor in a similar operation.
Essential Requirements
- Supervisory / management experience
- Knowledge and experience of stock controls and bar management
- Understanding of the importance of all aspects of legal compliance and corporate governance
- A motivator of people, with the drive to succeed and inspire team members
- Highly organized and able to work under pressure
