Compassionate Activities Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Activities Coordinator to join our team at the Wood Care Group. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about enhancing the lives of our residents through engaging activities and events.
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
About the RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for creating a programme of meaningful activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents. Your day-to-day tasks will include developing and delivering engaging sessions, supporting events, and promoting family interaction. You will also work closely with our kitchen staff to ensure the smooth operation of meal services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement activity programmes that meet the needs of our residents
- Deliver engaging sessions and events that promote social interaction and stimulation
- Support the kitchen staff in serving meals to our residents
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for our residents
Requirements:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience working in a care home environment (desirable but not essential)
- A committed and organised approach
- Ability to work shifts, including weekends
