Clinical Nurse Trainer Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Trainer to join our team, supporting nursing homes across the Northern region of Scotland.

Job Description:
  • Collaborate with Home Managers and Clinical Leads to develop clinical education programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our nursing staff.
  • Deliver face-to-face training on mandatory skills such as Basic Life Support and Venepuncture, ensuring our caregivers have the necessary expertise to provide exceptional care.
  • Travel to various nursing homes, occasionally requiring overnight stays, to deliver training and support our teams in their daily work.
  • Maintain open communication with your line manager and external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and collaborative learning opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver high-quality training programs that meet the needs of our nursing staff and residents.
  • Mentor and coach nurses to enhance their clinical skills and confidence.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • A valid and current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • Extensive experience in supporting clinical teams with learning and development.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage your own diary.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for engaging colleagues.
Benefits:
  • Annual salary of up to £55,000, depending on experience.
  • Car allowance.
  • Free on-site parking.
  • Full-time, permanent position with an 8-hour shift schedule from Monday to Friday.
