About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Operative to join our team at Sanctuary Group. As a Maintenance Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing a safe and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our facilities, including repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance.
  • Conduct regular health and safety checks to identify potential hazards and take corrective action to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and visitors, responding to their maintenance-related queries and concerns.
  • Work flexibly to meet the needs of the business, including working outside normal hours and on-call shifts.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a maintenance or facilities management role.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a variety of environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
