Grounds Maintenance Operative Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team at PPM Recruitment. As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds of various sites, ensuring they are well-manicured and safe for users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out grass/lawn cutting, litter picking, strimming, edging, hedge cutting, and weed control using mowers and powered tools.
  • Perform general landscape labour duties as directed by the supervisor.
  • Work in a team environment to achieve site maintenance goals.
Requirements:
  • Experience in grounds maintenance or a related field is preferred but not essential.
  • Outdoor experience is also preferred but not essential.
  • A valid driver's license is essential.
  • A DBS check is required.
