Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced nurse with a passion for Acute Medicine to join our team as Deputy Ward Manager on Ward D1 at Royal Bolton Hospital.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the shift, ensuring a safe and prepared environment for patients waiting for assessment by the medical team.

The ward is fast-paced, and we require someone who can work under pressure and manage a large team of nurses and healthcare assistants.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To coordinate the shift, prioritizing patient care and ensuring the ward runs smoothly.
  • To train and support staff in their roles, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • To deputize for the Ward Manager, attending meetings, cascading training, and supporting the ward to achieve its objectives.

  • Nursing Qualification (Level 5 or above)

Desirable Qualifications:

Salary:

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £43,041 - £54,243 per annum, depending on experience.
