Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Supply Planner to join our dynamic team at Northrop Grumman Sperry Marine. As a key member of our supply chain operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely delivery of our products to customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply Planning: Collaborate with our manufacturers to schedule, produce, and deliver stock on time and in full.
  • Supplier Performance: Monitor supplier performance and identify areas for improvement to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
  • Supplier Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and high-quality products.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to drive change through supply chain optimization and implement process improvements.
  • KPI Management: Manage supply chain activities to achieve success in key performance indicators, including customer and supplier OTIF, product availability, inventory health, and data accuracy.
  • Risk Management: Develop strategies to mitigate supply chain risks and ensure business continuity.
  • Relationships: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient inbound deliveries and reverse logistics activities.

    About You:

    • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or demand planning.
    • Strong experience in S&OP process implementation and improvements.
    • Proven track record of delivering change in end-to-end supply chain operations.
    • Ability to work with data and manipulate it to explain current positions and next steps.
    • Experience managing supplier and vendor performance and working to deadlines.
    • Experience using ERP systems and MRP systems, with implementation experience a plus.
    • High energy, willingness to learn, and a desire to get stuck in.
    • Team-focused with a can-do attitude and a positive, growth mindset.
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
    • Enjoy a fast-paced business with a 'start-up' mentality and approach.
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute a plan.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Self-motivated, persistent, and with a can-do attitude.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
