About the Role

The Senior Care Manager will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality care services to individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and other complex needs. This will involve managing a team of care professionals, ensuring that each person receives the appropriate level of support and care, and promoting a supportive and enabling environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • To promote a supportive and enabling environment for individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and other complex needs.
  • To manage a team of care professionals, ensuring that each person receives the appropriate level of support and care.
  • To ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards, including the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and associated essential standards of quality and safety.
  • To travel between packages of care, with an expectation of three days of travel per week and two days working from home.
  • To participate in monthly management and regional meetings, and to attend and participate in local authority provider and engagement forums.

Requirements

  • Experience of working in a care management role, with a focus on autism, learning disabilities, and other complex needs.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of care professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals, families, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and travel.
